Air Madagascar on the rush on Asia

A few more than 80 passengers took the first Air Madagascar flight on Monday July 6th which connects Antananarivo, the Madagascan capital city, to the Chinese city of Guanzhou, through La Reunion and Bangkok. 

The more and more visible presence of a new Chinese community in Madagascar as well as the quality of the economic and commercial relations between the Great Isle and China gave a certain idea to Air Madagascar’s leadership. Guanzhou has been targeted more especially, because” trade there is prosperous “, affirm a Madagascan national company worker. 

The national company’s new administrator, Rakotonirina Fidy, specified that the Antananarivo-Guanzhou line has been prepared since two years. At present, stops in Bangkok and La Reunion are more or less unavoidable. No doubt that they will be suppressed according to the evolution of the situation.  

In any case, the leaders of Air Madagascar are at present, rather optimistic. The first three flights are already full. Two flights per week are foreseen, for a promotional price of 1000 dollars for a round-trip ticket.
