Third round for "Jazz edition on the Totohabato" 12/06/2013 | 08:02:27

The event has always been reflecting symbiosis between music and discovery. Over the Totohabato, Madagascar's most famed public stairs linking Antaninarenina and Analakely, will the traditional tribute to Jazz music be taking place again. Home based artists and foreigners, almost certainly from Africa and Europe are expecting and expected to play their part into the event

The Jazz on the Totohabato has been being organized by the Goethe Zentrum, the German-Malagasy cultural center, with Antananarivo's city council's cooperation. As per usual, the event becomes once again the opportunity to relax, enjoy and pay tribute to Jazz music all at a time. Jazz actually used to be street music long before getting an entry in top class halls. The third edition of Jazz on the Totohabato will renew as a come back to basics with the music's very roots on June 15th and 16th.
