In the Island's western Menabe region, the irrigation system installed of the Dabara stream constitutes a genuine pledge for life


Without the Dabar stream's waters, the whole of the Menabe region would be unable to turn out either rice or other crops currently produced there. Besides, the Dabara happens to have developed significant assets for tourists. The Dabara dam, located about twenty five miles from Morondava city, is not only crucial, but also exceptionally beautiful. A hundred yards long bridge overlooks the dam and offers a wonderful observation spot on the life line river and the surrounding nature. Many travellers logically chose to take a few minutes long break right there to take a few snapshots of the landscape and breath the Menabe region's pure air in
