Terrorism accusations: the GTT reacts vigorously 09/07/2009 | 16:34:55

Following the accusations from the state police, the GTT association denies any involvement in any supposed bomb attempt projects in the capital city.

The GTT group, gathering associations supporting Marc Ravalomanana outside Madagascar, expressed itself shocked by accusations from a state police colonel. The group denied its involvement in any violent act and denounced, by the same way, the Transition’s scandalous practice n Madagascar.

In a statement the GTT specified: "This  illegal HAT regime is recognized for its lies, disinformation and manipulations to prepare and to hide the coup perpetrated in Madagascar on March 17, 2009 ".

Indeed, a certain colonel Richard Ravalomanana, who doesn't have anything to do with the president in exile, Marc Ravalomanana, went as far as giving the amount that the GTT would have collected to finance terrorist acts in Madagascar.

The GTT reiterated then: "It is widely known that this regime is used to burden the others’ backs with vile, abject and foolish acts perpetrated by its own members but as courage and the boldness are in no way their primary qualities, they prefer to look for scapegoats ". before specifying: "The accusations held by this colonel subdued to this illegal regime against the GTT members are pure lies and manipulations and only harden our faith in the righteousness of our struggle,  our adversaries are indeed hard pressed if they go down to such accusations to reach us ".
