Top Resa: the Malagasy delegation is going to get financial support from the AFD 18/09/2009 | 10:10:16

Madagascar's tourism national office (ONTM) is one of the three recipients of 1,5 millions euros as financial commercial capability enhancement program or PRCC 2. Such financial help is stemming from the French development agency (AFD) in right time for the institution in charge of promoting the Madagascar destination.

Better late that never. The ONTM can count on the financial support provided by the AFD for the PRCC 2. The Office is, therefore, able to secure the Malagasy delegation's involvement in the RESA 2009 show due to take place in Paris. The political crisis that has been undermining tourism from the beginning of the year has deprived the ONTM from crucial financial means. No tourists, no tourist labels, and no financial resources to achieve either advertising or marketing campaigns in order to promote the destination.

The ONTM is, henceforth, able to back the Malagasy participants to the Top Resa due to take place from the 22nd to the 25th of September 2009. Part of the delegation was the national airline company Air Madagascar. Many inn and tour operators will be present in Paris. Océane Aventures propose a wide range of tours through the Great Isle and proposes a journey to order. Cortez Expeditions, a subsidiary of Cortez Travel Inc USA, and Partner of Carlson Wagonlits Travel (Group Accor) is putting tours in 4WD, cruises and trekking at disposal. A discovery of the Malagasy fauna and flora, sea divings and beach leisure are among the proposed products.

With the know-how of a genuine expert, the Henri Fraise Group's HFF Travel Service is in charge of the conception and organization of your journey (business, vacations, sport), of your flight and of unfolding the Great Isle's thousand and one faces to the tourist (by private plane, by car, by boat, by Quad or by bike). Aventour Madagascar, Tropic Tours & Travel will be present to the Top Resa 2009 as well.

Palissandre Hotel & Spa will be the unique representative of the Malagasy inn at the international show in Paris. The association Go To Madagascar is going to plead for tourism professionals recognized in their profession. This organ is providing quality label to operators and acts as an international ethics watchdog.

Top Resa is the leading international high profile tourism show in France. It constitutes all at a time the professional platform for leisure and business tourism, the platform for travel agents, producers, tour operators as for many more… The community of tourism professionals is meeting, negotiating, and trying to boost the market's evolution.
