One hundred capital city districts have their Support Committee for the Maputo Agreements03/03/2010 | 13:30:56
The political mobilities supporting the implementation of the Maputo and Addis-Ababa agreements have a new strategy: support committees have been put in place throughout districts. One hundred of them have already been installed. The objective: keeping in touch with basic militancy.
The Malagasy capital city has 192 districts. More that half of them have their own Support Committee for the Maputo Agreements. Promoters were anxious to extend the operation to peripheral districts and communes. It is definitely a done deal for one hundred of them.
A parade of the committees put in place is already dimmed to take place in the Magro square on Saturday March 6th according to Jean Louis Rakotoamboa, from the Marc Ravalomanana mobility. Mobilization is on the rise, district after district. This style has been being a MFM party tradition for years. Olivier Rakotovazaha, the party's current general secretary, was understandibly part of the current movement's founding fathers.
A relevant meeting of the existing committees has already come true inside Marc Ravalomanana's supporters' headquarters, certainly a relevant enough one to justify its interruption from soldiers devoted to the High Authority of Transition, on no clear account
