The northwestern Mahajanga and the oriental Toamasina have become the top holiday destinations for the central highlanders
Toamasina has been losing attractiveness for some years to the capital city’s inhabitants. Popularity is however now back. Many hotels are full, and scores of beach facilities are a real magnet for holiday trekkers. On top of the chart: Foulpointe and Mahambo.
