Chinese art: a first big show in Madagascar
More than a dozen Chinese artists from the Chinese art show company of Paris will participate in a big show at Dome RTA this coming Friday, May 25, 2012. The show will start at 7:00pm, inviting all the die-hard fans of Chinese art which will be performed by young artists of the above company.
During a press conference that took place yesterday at Blue Line Ankorondrano, the President of Rotary Club Antananarivo, Damien de Lambertinie announced that the public will have the chance to see a performance reflecting all the disciplines of Chinese art and culture, including among others martial arts, waterlily and fan dance and Beijing Opera.
It is to be noted that funds raised during the show will be used by Rotary Club Antananarivo to renovate 8 classrooms and to bring back 240 children to schools. In the past, this association has already organized fund-raising opera concerts during which many artists actively took part. The organizers of the Friday’s show are expecting 800 concert-goers given its pioneering and original aspects.
