Businesses meeting on tourism

The Malagasy tourism market is growing fast.  Financial professionals and partners are getting conscious of the fact that tourism in Madagascar may well be an profitable market after all.  According to the newspaper L’Express of Madagascar “During two days, technicians, operators and financial partners will discuss at the Hilton hotel the status of Malagasy tourism and its development through French experiments.  Seven consultant firms specialized in tourism will take part in the meeting on the French side supported by interventions of the persons in charge for the economic mission in Madagascar.  The Malagasy part will be represented by the professional bodies : The FHORM for the hotel sector, the TOP for the tour operators without forgetting the GOTO group (Grouping of tourism operators of Madagascar).  Regarding financial partnern, there will be the Trade association of banks (APB), the French Agency for development (AFD), the International Finance Corporation (SFI) as well as the European Union”.
