The province of Fianarantsoa has long been famed by two different sights, namely the mountain range of Andringitra and the National Park of Ranomafana.

There are actually at least two good reasons to make for the province of Fianarantsoa. Two national parks exert an unusual magnetism on a growing number of visitors, namely Ranomafana and the Andringitra. No other place do capture more focus than those ones throughout the province. Ranomafana has long been well-known national park of the province’s eastern part. The Andringitra range, a relatively brand new destination, stands right at the province’s center. The city of Fianarantsoa serves first and foremost as the last best suited outpost to travellers bound to make for the South. The city actually stands as a halfway point between Toliara, the southern main city, and Antananarivo, the island’s capital city
