It is in a magnificent setting as we move into the small town of Ranomafàna, at the Southeast door. National Park Ranomafàna was inaugurated in 1991 and is among those who have the largest number of visitors during the tourist season.
At about 10 km before the town, a long descent leads to a magnificent view of the village and, at right, on part of the forest park. In addition to its special richness in flora and fauna, Ranomafàna offers a wonderful landscape, punctuated by mountains and lush greenery. The descent to Ranomafàna can be done on foot. A choice not eccentric. Not only because it allows oneself to breathe fresh air but at the same time to take an opportunity to admire the magnificent waterfalls in against the national highway southeast.
A nice road leads to Ranomafàna, about 10 hours from the capital, Antananarivo, and a little less than two hours of Fianarantsoa.
