Third edition of the Isalo Rally Raid

There have been no many pretenders this year, but the third edition of Isalo Rally Raid, on July 25th and 26th, happens to be quite rich in interest. 

This sporty cultural and tourist event allows many visitors to realize the particularity of this somewhat magic place. With its fauna and its particular vegetation and, especially its canyons.  

The Isalo national park, scattered on a bit more than 81.000 hectares, can’t help to charm.  

The Isalo Raid will take place over about 94km to be run in 36 hours all for most. Contestants will have the time to delight themselves. The 2008 Raid champion, Alain Bienvenu, ran in 13 hours and half. It’s quite not an everyday performance, but at least for the beauty of the site, the Raid does really worth it.
