Liar, liar, slim dummy skinny liar! Andry Rajoelina accused the other mobility leaders, particularly Marc Ravalomanana of course, of liing when denying the foregone deal on the French roadmap. Fetison Andrianirina, from the Ravalomanana mobility, returned the favor.

Baseless bluff about the failed Pretorian opportunity

He was meaning to get there for signing… Andry Rajoelina went to Pretoria although knowing that his expectations were a foregone dead duck. For being convinced that the ousted president Marc Ravalomanana was going to sign, or reject the French agreement, the young HAT leader moved to Pretoria. He was allegedly relying on an alleged verbal agreement to sign the french paper. “I went there to sign, and in no way to debate further more”, he said.

Andry Rajoelina labelled the former presidents as” liars ” for having refused to sign a…French…imposed agreement totally free from negotiations. “Lies must be halted” he said after the Pretorian stage. According to Andry Rajoelina exclusively, the lie concerns the denial of the post Pretorian agreement. “How do former presidents dare make liars of France’s and South Africa’s ambassadors”, he said.

When being required to prove his allegations as well as Marc Ravalomanana’s “sudden reluctancy”, the HAT leader laid an official declaration produced by France’s and South Africa’s embassies on April 23rd, 2010. “This communique declares that the meeting to be held in Pretoria would address the signature of a deal previously and jointly agreed by the former president  and Andry Rajoelina “, specified… Andry Rajoelina, while failing to present any shadow of document ever signed by Marc Ravalomanana.

Even an intervention from an French government official is not proving enough to remove doubts concerning the alleged agreement to blindly sign the French paper. Why are France and Andry Rajoelina so much reluctant to let their paper be debated?. “When countries as South Africa and France are putting up some propositions, stumbling blocks have definitely been spotted”, argued the authoritarian regime’s leader.

In order to accuse Marc Ravalomanana of being such a stumbling block, the young TGV laid an unexpected argument. “I accepted to sign in Maputo “, he said, while estimating that the other ough to have returned the favor in Pretoria. “Only one of us was committed to settle the issue”, he insisted.

The opposition’s three mobilities have separately denied any knowledge of any foregone agreement on an alleged french miracle long before the trip to Pretoria. Fetison Andrianirina reported that a document has definitely been presented to Marc Ravalomanana three days before the Pretorian state. But no foregone agreement has ever existed. Having France successfully imposing its will and killing down the Maputo and Addis Ababa agreements by a single swing of its hand that so easily is more fantastic than anything else. Believing France’s weight could have made negotiations pointless is even not suited to seven years old kids’ cartoons.

Joaquim Chissano’s final official statement itself shot Andry Rajoelina’s big fat lie dead. He said that ” the consultations were encouraging even if some people were reluctant to negotiate”. Andry Rajoelina said that he would no more make for Pretoria for a second round. However, Joaquim Chissano officially declared that “mobility leaders committed to meet anew within 15 days in South Africa in order to settle the latest details”. So what, slim dummy skinny liar?.
