The plan is a court condemnation of Marc Ravalomanana and a denial of an amnesty
The amnesty issue has largely been debated during the National Conference’s preliminary talks. Rajoelina’s supporters have made their stand clear long ago: no amnesty for embezzlement and murder indictments. The top target is everything but a secret, as the HAT justice is on the brink of accusing Marc Ravalomanana of murder in the February 7th case
Marc Ravalomanana will, however, not be the single victim to be claimed by this strategy adopted by the High Authority of Transition and its supporters. The other former president, Didier Ratsitraka, and a former deputy Prime Ministerr, Pierrot Rajaonarivelo, will be remaining on the bench if embezzlement charges are not dropped.
The National Conference would well turn into a HAT decisive weapon to outcast its main and most feared contenders
