Young supporters of Marc Ravalomanana intend to organize another assembly following the organization of a recent youth meeting which sustains the HAT.

One counter-assembly of the legalistic youngsters

“It was only a political manoeuvre “. This is how some academic youngsters reacted to the resolutions of the recent national youth assembly organized under the aegis of the High Authority of the Transition, in Antananarivo. Some young students currently begin to react. They emphasize that the participants to the assembly of the HAT were generally manner part of the associations which sustained Andry Rajoelina’s movement before the coup of mid-March.

The legalistic youngsters first of all recommend a return to the constitutional order before a consultation of the representatives of the Malagasy youth. The recent assembly of the youth confirmed its support of the High Authority of the Transition and its commitment to defend the interests of a militants’ group requiring, for example, five ministerial seats for the youths.

In the end, the national assembly of the youth has been centered on an indefectible support of Andry Rajoelina. He’s been waiting for the call from his young supporters to announce later his likely candidacy in possible anticipated presidential elections organized by the HAT.

For the legalistic youngsters, the sensitization of the academic students currently constitutes an essential mission. A large number of young students has been mobilized indeed to defend Andry Rajoelina. These same youngsters constituted the core of the promoters and participants to the recent assembly. What would be distressing, according to one of Marc Ravalomanana’s supporter, is the often violent rivalries between supporters for both sides.

The young supporters of Marc Ravalomanana think thus about another national assembly of youth, once the constitutional order is re-established.
