the Union of Malagasy Journalists sent a letter to the International Community begging it to react vigourously to the transitional ruling power's led violation of press freedom in Madagascar.In the run of a press conference, the Union's leading office emphasized anew the urgent need to allow some 80 radio and TV stations arbitrarily shut down by the ruling powerover the latest years. The transitional junta has always been playing a deaf ear to these claims.
