The former deputy Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro has been interviewed in Court for an in depth investigation. He has, so far, been incarcerated since two weeks.

The legalistic leader is nowhere close to the exit from the judicial deadlock. The Marc Ravalomanana party’s former parliamentarian is likely to remain behind bars longer than expected. An in depth investigation has been started on the 29th of September.

This time around, Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro is charged for breach of public order subsequent to a prohibited demonstration, held in the capital city center, and which ended in clashes with police forces

For having been on the scene at the time of the clashes, the former deputy has been considered as one of the initiators of that day’s violences. The legalistic camp has planned a gathering on the place of democracy, but the military did not see it that way.

Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro has been convened by judicial authorities few days after the clashes, and immediately held in custody. Few months earlier, this former parliamentarian has already been held under house arrest for a case of true fake bomb attempt in the capital city.
