The Fifohazana movement has been developing within Madagascar’s Christian Churches, most of them Protestant ones, based on specific actions like the healing of the sick as well as exorcism. Many photographers have been documenting, just as Pierrot Men has, what daily life looks like in Soatanana, in which the largest part of the population usually dons but white clothes. The village has recently captured general focus again. Apart from its religious feature, the area actually has a lot more to offer in terms of standard tourist interest, for instance the walk to the top of the Fiadanana heights. A tourism branch student from the University of Antananarivo plans the integration of Soatanana as an option to local tour operators. Such a new inspiration may only lead to the creation of a brand new product for tourism in Madagascar.
