Andry Rajoelina officially ruled himself out of from the next presidential election, his young party, technically a newborn thing, has not given electoral ambitions up for so much. The TGV does put no limits to its appetite for even being willing to make a clean sweep as an outcome of the next legislative election. Its presidential candidacy might become a real surprise

TGV: big electoral ambition and desperate quest for a candidate

Gathered for the elections’ preparations, the TGV ‘s office displays its ambitions. The former association named after the former DJ Andry Rajoelina doesn’t have complex. First of all, it has to make believe that political parties are massively approving the HAT leader’s roadmap, and lining up in the starting blocks. For the TGV, the holding of any shadow of democratic, free and transparent elections would already be a victory. Let us not forget that the ORANGE party is being empowered during the transition. The TGV has no interest in having to undergo any potential consensual and inclusive transition. Otherwise, the Andry Rajoelina’s “compulsory sacrifice” would have been pointless. Through the present chessboard’s configuration, and even after an eluding Vital II national salute government’s reshuffle, things are more or less remaining under control. As long as the legislative election takes place while Andry Rajoelina is in control of the HAT, the TGV has its success chances. The young party is particularly greedy for believing itself to be able to win 80% of seats at the parliament. This electoral plan is logically challenged, even by the other groupings derivated from the Rajoelina mobility. The chairwoman of the TGV categorically announced Andry Rajoelina’s pull out, emphasizing that he “would” not change his mind. Did the active propaganda centered around this pull out succeeded in boosting dwindling sympathy for a newborn party which conquered the power through street unrests and military rebellion. Nothing is yet to be held for granted. The TGV could well militate for the lowering of the presidential candidate’s required age to the presidential, even though the young HAT leader is pulling out. The million dollar question is concerning the TGV presidential candidate’s identity, since the party declared to be in for avery elections. A long time favorite horse, Edgard Razafindravahy seems exhausted by Antananarivo’s city hall which finally proved to be of little help. From the young ministers having recently joined Andry Rajoelina’s party, hardly a single is presenting a fit profile for the presidential race. Some of them, like the HAT national education minister have, anyway, confirmed ambitions by tackling propaganda, namely in the district of Mandritsara. Julian Razafimanazato, a declared parliamentarian favorite, would be in for the national assembly’s presidency. Though still lacking a potential candidate, the TGV is not bound to integrate a coalition, and push a particular Rajoelina mobility’s candidate for so much. What about a TGV female presidential candidate? Why not? Lanto Rakotomavo, the party’s number one would fancy a test. A defeat could jeopardize Andry Rajoelina’s potential candidacy following the end of the 4th republic’s first mandate. In the end, the party would be trying to find a more attractive female candidate. According to a source close to the party, the idea is finding its way to a real proposal estate. But who? Mialy Rajoelina! For this to do, the presidential candidate’s required age will still have to be lowered. The hypothesis seems unlikely, but one year of political mess in Malagasy is proving that everything can be expected. The young HAT first lady is appreciated by the opinion thanks to her ” Mada Raid “. Besides, she’s long been in advance on her potential electoral schedule. Didier Ratsiraka was blamed for making a fun of Mialy Rajoelina’s transitional presidency’s candidacy. What a world we’re living in!
