Two collaborators of Ravalomanana tracked by the soldiers of the HAT

The hunt after Marc Ravalomanana’s collaborators is open. Dennis Andriamandroso, former ambassador in South Africa, and Bary Rafatrolaza, consul of Madagascar in Pretoria, are on top of the High Authority of Transition’s list. 

 

Dennis Andriamandroso would have stayed for a short while in the Colbert hotel of Antaninarenina, in the capital city center. Ten soldiers came in the hotel to look for him, in the afternoon of October 1st, but he was not there.  

 

The motives of this manhunt targeting former diplomats close to Ravalomanana are not yet known for the time being. The Antananarivo region’s Chief of the operational mixed staff  had allegedly confirmed to reporters that he had been unaware of the “mission”. 

 

On the ground, the manhunt after pro-Ravalomanana figures continues. In the same time, judicial relentlessness is also unleashing. Former deputy Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro has, once again, been heard by the dean of the judges, this time around concerning the makeshift bombs case which topped the headlines back in June. Raharinaivo had yet been granted conditional release after have been put under house arrest. Today, the former deputy is detained in the jail of Antanimora, waiting for the next episode: his process
