Cultural education: philosophical training offered by “Malagasy Psychology”

Psychologist and choreographer, Tolojanahary Andrianarisoa, conducted research on the relationship between Malagasy culture and psychology. From his research, Tolojanahary deduced that Malagasy ancestors already discovered the science of the invisible world, philosophy, a long time ago. Unfortunately, according to this researcher, “When foreigners made a discovery, it is hailed as revolutionary, but when Malagasy made it, it is pure superstition.”

Tolojanahary Andrianarisoa asserts that Malagasy ancestors “already discovered those sciences because they were raised and educated with them. As for the current generation, they are still educated with the same values”, though foreign cultures and values are currently overshadowing the local culture. In order to remedy to that forgotten part of our cultural traditions, the association “Malagasy Psychology”, founded by Tolojanahary himself, organizes training for all. The training started on December 8, at the College Rasalama, and focuses on the following theme: “Voice of liberty, natural and spiritual voice.”
