Georges Ranaivosoa, reporter, founder of the « Revue de l’Ocean Indien” and skilled businessman, has died on June the 08th in Antananarivo at the age of 76 years old. The Malagasy press has lost one more of its leading figures.

Georges Ranaivosoa started his professional career in France at the end of his law studies. He became parliamentarian secretary before entering the press world

Back on home soil, he started cooperation with various Malagasy newspapers. He founded the Madprint print house in 1960. In 1990, he founded his “La revue de l’ocean indien”.
