Discover the traditional malagasy music trough the Valiha.

Since years, Rajery is known as being a virtuoso of the valiha, this Malagasy traditional instrument whose sound is more or less similar to that of the toothing-stone but which is manufactured on bamboo. The Alliance Française organizes from February 19th to the 24th a musical workshops animated by this artist of exception.

The valiha is indeed an instrument impossible to circumvent in traditional music of the center of the Large Island. Two concerts are also programmed within the framework of these musical workshops: on February 22nd, then on February 24th. It should be noted that Rajery has taught the valiha in its own workshop for several years.
