Drugstore « Metropole »: zen and design premises

Metropole, one of the oldest drugstores in Madagascar, has just re-opened its premises after being renovated for a couple of months. The newly-renovated premises of the drugstore are highly zen with a modern design. From now on, Dr Vololona Rakotovao-Ravahatra Rabetsaroana, graduated with a Doctorate degree in Pharmacology from the University of René DesCartes Paris V, and her 26 colleagues will accommodate their customers in a very welcoming environment. Last Friday, during a house-warming party, Dr Vololona introduced to the audience some of her collaborators in the renovation project, including the most important one, “Phytologic”, which created the green space at the front door of the drugstore.

It is to be reminded that the drugstore Metropole was first established in 1949 and was managed by Dr Vololona Rabetsaroana since 1991. And currently, it serves more than 400 customers daily. Most of Metropole’s customers rely on the drugstore for their health and well-being. The drugstore Metropole collaborates with big insurance companies both in Madagascar and overseas, including Aro, Gras Savoye, Bsa Madagascar, the A3A Group, and with brokerage firm such as Elysées-Conseil, Amrep Santé. Besides, it is also a member of the International network GMC MetNet.
