National Tax School: Laying the foundation stone in Ambohidratrimo

The tax administration has decided to build a National Tax School which will be located in Ambohidratrimo, Antananarivo. The foundation stone laying ceremony was performed on Friday, December 9, at the construction site with the presence of a strong delegation from the Ministry of Finance and Budget, led by the Secretary General of the Department, Vonintsalama Andriambololona, Tax Manager, Armand Tazafy, and Jean Razafindravonona, the Budget Manager.  

Indeed, of the 66 000m² expanse belonging to the General Tax Administration (DGI), ​​7 000m ² of which will be allocated to the project, with a building surface of 4 400m². Officials expect a budget of 5.5 billion Ariary for the construction of the infrastructure, which will be undertaken by the company Firm & Architecture. The Tax Manager noted that the greatest benefit resulting from the construction of this school is that the DGI will be able to develop training programs and information that are proper and appropriate for the ongoing evolution of the Malagasy tax system, so that in the end, tax service employees will be more qualified for different tasks than before.

Administration offices, an auditorium and 10 training rooms, a laboratory, a computer room, a library, relaxation rooms and restaurants, and many other rooms make up this modern infrastructure which is to be achieved in 18 months.
