According to the Journal, ?A real opportunity exists. Arab countries who presently deal with Australia to supply their goat meat are very interested in doing business in Madagascar. Only for Iran, the annual demand would be for 6000 tons. Private Arab businessmen have already visited our shores with ahe view to establishing a commercial enterprise here.?  So for the moment, Muslim countries are the logical clients. Midi says, ?For a year now, Madagascar intends to export our goat meat through the Comoros and Mauritius Islands. It would make great sense to build a state of the art slaughterhouse here in Madagascar thus creating added value for our producers.?
