ONE Toamasina: certified ISO 9001

Following an audit conducted by the audit firm AJA EQS M’TIUS during the period of July 17 until 20, 2012, the National Office of Environment (ONE) was awarded the renewal of its Certification ISO 9001 which will be valid until July 2015. This certification will allow the latter to perform its activities, namely the Evaluation and Management of Environmental Data, complying with the international standard. The certification was first obtained 3 years ago, precisely in 2009, and an audit was to be performed every 3 years. So, after 3 years, the certification should be renewed, and that renewal should ensure the sustainability of the quality control system and should improve the working process of the organization.

Along with quality, efficiency and guarantee for the customers by providing them with services that meet their expectation, the system of quality control within ONE’s regional offices was also implemented so that the working process of the organization will be standardized within all of its national offices. For this year, the investigation performed by the audit firm within the ONE’s regional office in Toamasina proved to be satisfactory and met the ISO 9001:2008 certification requirements. Thus, for its first certification audit, ONE Toamasina has proven its mettle as being a trustworthy organization as regard to quality services.
