The Confederation of Christian Churches in Madagascar (FFKM) blamed Jean Omer Beriziky, the transitional government'S chief, and Andry Rajoelina, the transitional leaderà in its official statement made public on July 11th. The FFKM reported from its talks with the highest ranking officers that they could not let former president Marc Ravalomanana come back home, let alone insuring his security unless being ordered to by the excutive power. The order never materialized.

In the very same official statement, the FFKM argued that nearly all political leaders jointly agree on the need to bring Andry Rajoelina, the transitional leader, Didier Ratsiraka, Albert Zafy and Marc Ravalomanana, all three former democratically elected presidents to talk with each other in the run of a summit.
