The 5th wahles festival was a great success

The festival attracted a crowd. Without surprise. It it a unique opportunity for the touristic promotion of the very beautiful island of Sainte-Marie, formerly called Nosy Boraha. This year still, the Zagnaharibe festival did not fail in the tradition. The program included great concerts, often at night, guided tours at sea to admire the whales and various traditional ceremonies. During his stay on the island of Sainte-Marie, the Prime Minister of Madagascar, Jacques Sylla, announced the construction of a new road as well as the extension of the airport track, to make it still more attractive.
