The new government postponed again but always imminent

The HAT Prime minister Camille Vital has been ordered to make a national unity or opening government since January 2010. He made no secret of the job’s hardship. oNe more day’s delay would not be any significant difference, had there been no 15 days countdown to the next round of talks meant to be held in Pretoria .  

The HAT is, on this account, needing an unilateral done deal. Andry Rajoelina is still committed to impose his new general as Prime Minister as well as to corrupt the other political mobilities in order to make up some nominal national unity. It is more generally a matter of reshuffle, and in no way a radical change.  

As he went back from Pretoria, Andry Rajoelina announced the erection of a new government supposed to launch the march towards the 4th Republic. The D-Day was meant to be Thursday, May 06th, 2010 but once again, things proved to be very different from the authoritarian regime’s leader’s dreams.  

First, the armed forced somehow let him down for refusing to put its feet in it. Militaries remain, however, free to get included in the next government as far as they remove their uniforms. This backlash was turned into a cheer before the press by a HAT used to the operation. The presidency greets the armed forces’ alleged recovered neutrality and welcomed the army’s potential release of technical officers for governmental duty.  

The hybrid government is stillborn. The announcement of a public, technical, or national unity government’s birth has been postponed again due to on going consultations of political groupings. Andry Rajoelina is apparently still to meet figures to collect the ideas he is missing to draft a roadmap
