World Tourism Day

The city of Toliara, in the south of the country, was chosen by the Malagasy ministry of tourism for the official celebration of the world tourism day, September 27.  The South destination is one of the most attractive in Madagascar. It is the province of Toliara which attracts the greatest number of tourists with a proportion of 32% of the foreign tourists who travel to Madagascar. For this reason, Toliara celebrates since September 24.  According to Malagasy promoters’, thanks to its natural and environmental richnesses, as well as the diversity of the landscapes of an area with another, Madagascar hopes to attract more visitors in the years to come.
