Didier Ratsiraka's political system collapses inescapably after Marc Ravolomanana 's supporters took possession of the ministries.

Didier Ratsiraka is loosing every bits of power

The former president, Didier Ratsiraka after Marc Ravolomanana ‘s
government members took over public ministries is totally striped of
his power. From now, the decision power is on Marc Ravolomanana’s
side although Didier Ratsiraka ‘s supporters refute still this
reality. President’s friends are still thinking that Ravelomanana’s
ministers are not legal and will not be able to manage the country as
it must be done even if during this time they stayed home and have
not gone to their office for several days.

Symbolic

The transfer between both National Police State Secretaries was
symbolic. This transfer was done in a brotherhood spirit far away
from shouts and calls to victory coming from the population who
accompanied all Ravelomanana ‘s ministries and the Prime Minister to
their new offices. National Police is now managed by M.
Ravelomanana’s State Secreatry; in meantime on the army side,
negotiations have been started according to General Marcel Ranjeva’s
close relation for a smooth transfer between him and General Maizara,
Marc Ravelomanana ‘s designed minister. This will probably be the end
of Didier Ratsiraka’s twenty-two years of power.

Secession

The other battle lost by Didier Ratsiraka is this of
communication. After several days of shut down, Malagasy National
Television and Radio start again from the initiative of Marc
Ravelomanana’s new minister and this, after five years of Didier
Ratsiraka and his team ‘s seizure on public audio-visual. They have
let of the TV and radio employees hang the spectrum of the
censorship. The outgoing President Ratsiraka that several persons
call now the “old president” has not found better than to
try a secession with 5 other provinces of the Island in order to
isolate Antananarivo,

The five governors recently announced that they have designated
Toamasina as capital of the 5 provinces and that they recognize
Didier Ratsiraka as President. Marc Ravelomanana ‘s friends said in
doing that the 5 governors and Mr Ratsiraka are “digging their
grave.” Malagasy Constitution article 219 notifies that “any
secession or tentative of secession from one or several provinces is
forbidden. The authors of such acts undermining territorial integrity
and national unity which are considered as crime against the Nation
are liable to maximal pain according to the Penal code”
