A mixture of reassuring speech and psychosis for the purpose of granting legitimacy to a so wanted national conference.

The couple of statements produced by the state police has partly reassured the population on security issues, but equally caused unrests related concerns. Colonel Ravalomanana proved to be remaining true to his usual alarm bell speech with three pillars: the population is in danger, alleged politically engaged groups would be on their way to strike, but the police forces already know whom is it about.

The “future general Ravalomanana” (Monja Roindefo dixit) once again mentioned a pastor in enemy ranks. He reported that a pastor would have produced a heated political statement prior to ordering his men to stay after the meeting. “Are you bound to get a move on?” would have allegedly been asked. Colonel Richard Ravalomanana subsequently provided the alleged operation’s details: “50 men are intending to spread unrest throughout the crowd on a signal like a slight kick”

According to Colonel Ravalomanana, these alleged unrests would be aiming at spreading the idea that Antananarivo is burning, in the run of sabotage actions on Jirama facilities and hold ups of these latest weeks. Colonel Ravalomanana is holding these actions as directed against the National Conference. And the three stars subsequently justified his idea by arguing that “some individuals would have already infiltrated the Conference”.

So what are these alleged terrorist doing in order to spread terror. Super colonel’s report is impressive: “for one meal, they’d launch an assault! They complain that sugar is missing in the coffee… and that they would not be well treated, and they are drawing the others to claim money in exchange of taking part in the National Conference”. So any anti-National Conference speech is dimmed to be held as an act of terrorism by the police forces. Names have been gathered, warnings, distributed.

Colonel Ravalomanana equally stepped up pressure on reporters and bloggers covering the opposition’s actions. He wants to dampen the potential troubles. Any photographer happening to be there when they’d happen can expect to be sent behind bars. Isn’t this security speech a breach of information freedom. Psychosis to grant legitimacy to the National conference. The political plot idea doesn’t make it though. Actually the opposition’s simple absence is thwarting the “national” conference. Nothing else is needed
