Air Madagascar: a nonstop flight between Antananarivo and Marseille

Starting on November 1, Air Madagascar has opened a nonstop flight service that links Antananarivo with the city of Marseille. The flight is operated on Fridays for a departure from Marseille and on Thursdays for a departure from Antananarivo. For this special flight, Air Madagascar uses one of its latest acquisitions in terms of aircrafts, the Airbus A340-300.

The Airbus A340-300 has the following features: a total of 275 seats divided in three categories, including the economy class named Baobab, with 30 available seats, the intermediate economy class named Vanilla, having 21 seats, and the standard class named Ylang, with 224 seats. For the nonstop flight, the flight personnel are provided by Air France while Air Madagascar provides onboard services and products. The maintenance of the aircraft is handled by Air France Industry. The weekly nonstop flight linking Antananarivo with Marseille will add up to the three weekly direct commercial flights between France and Madagascar.
