Akbaraly Foundation: Two doctors sent for training in Milan

As a result of the collaboration between the Akbaraly Foundation and two different partners, the Instituto Europeo di Oncologia (IEO) and the Veronesi Foundation, two Malagasy doctors namely, Michel Sabotsy, a physician working inside the Oncology Department at the Joseph Ravoahangy Andrianavalona Hospital, and Fara Tanjona Harijay, will go to Milan on January 24, 2011.

The doctor, Michel Sabotsy, received a scholarship from the IEO in Milan. He will follow specialization trainings in radiotherapy in that Institute. As far as the doctor, Fara Tanjona Harijay, is concerned, she received a scholarship from the Veronesi Foundation and will follow specialization trainings in histopathology, also in the IEO Institute.

Both scholarship grantees will receive their plane tickets from the President of the Akbaraly Foundation today. On January 24, they will leave the Great Island for a one-year specialization study in Milan. Their training will begin on February 1, 2011 and will end on January 31, 2012.
