Albert Zafy: No to Madagascar´s new king

The Zafy sphere has quite early and vividly reacted to the draft put forth by Leonardo Simao: “we are emphatically rejecting this proposed roadmap since it would be making of Rajoelina Madagascar´s king” declared Albert Zafy. He vehemently condemned the intention to “grant full power to someone who has not been elected”. The dictating authority leader was elected mayor of Antananarivo city, and owed his rise to the presidency to and only to one part of the armed forces.

The former president openly attacked Simao´s first draft: “It´s an insult to the Malagasy people”. The former president is holding a true reconciliation as necessary. He is calling upon the release of the HAT´s political prisoners. Albert Zafy wants the truth to be unveiled in order to pave the way to national reconciliation, in short words, an international investigation commission concerning February 7th´s shoot out.

The former president subsequently accused the TGV of having voluntarily sacrificed its supporters. There were actually gun fires from buildings surrounding the presidential palace, as well as TGV militants clearly heard ordering their men not to let the crowd run for life.
