The Clerical leaders' movement organized a meeting between the four mobilities' members divided and sharply opposed to each other all along the year 2009's crisis. It is eager to tackle reconciliation and mutual forgiveness prior to the resumption of the talks in Johannesburg.

Clerical leaders longing for tackling reconciliation

The meeting of the political mobilities promoted by the clerical movement is meant to take place in Mandriambero, in the western suburb of the capital city on April 22nd.

Each political mobility’s representatives are expected to start national reconciliation and mutual forgiveness. This reconciliation is, according to pastor Roger Andriamanamisata, a necessary step for the resumption of the negotiations.

The Andry Rajoelina mobility has, so far, been failing to confirm its participation. Supporters of the High Authority of Transition had always been accusing the Clerical Leaders’ Movement of being loyal to the ousted president, Marc Ravalomanana.
