The preservation of Madagascar’s biodiversity is a long term task tackled by Conservation International since the latest 20 years, an anniversary ceremoniously celebrated on October 7th

Conservation International invested 1.7 million US$ in order to preserve Madagascar’s biodiversity

 

Conservation International has been investing some 1.7 million US$ in activities related to the preservation of fauna and flora in Madagascar. Subsidies used to be granted to various basic communities invited to contribute their way to the environment’s preservation.

149 rural associations have been receiving these funds. They are located in 6 of the Great Isle’s zones: the Menabe, Zahamena’s corridor, Loky-Manambato, Nosivolo, Mahavavy-Kinkony and Ambositra-Vondrozo’s corridor
