Constitutional project : the advisory committee in action

The Committee is allowed to expect the best as well as the worst. Various political groups and independent associations have already delivered their proposals.

Florent Rakotoarisoa, the Committee’s president, has so far not yet complained. The former ambassador and former High Constitutional Court member is rather displaying satisfaction at the situation.

The Committee’s erection itself was not as smooth as expected, since it reflects in no way any political consensus suggested by the international community, and because none of the Great Isle’s greatest constitution experts are in for it.
