Demonstrations downtown

The opposition’s militants have been resuming demonstrating in the street since Monday. Everything was ignited by the trial related to the famous makeshift explosive devices.

Clashes took place downtown on Monday, October 18th. On Tuesday, a soldier had a nasty quarter of an hour amidst a group of youth in Ambohijatovo. Barricades have been installed by demonstrators in various locations, but it did not took ages to remove and destroy them.

Tensions are back, one month to the referendum ordered by the High Authority of Transition. Sprayed wall messages inviting the population to keep away from the referendum have been appearing throughout the capital city
