Development of the capital city’s urban tourism

Various reasons have been detering tourists from remaining in the Malagasy capital city for a too long time, namely traffic jams or  urban pollution according to tourism professionals. These very same professionals are however remaining convinced that many other reasons to remain a little longer in Antananarivo can be found for tourists.

Historical sites, architechtural details and various other particularities of the Malagasy capital city have driven the tourism national office to trigger urban tourism. Foreign tourists are from then on invited to discover Antananarivo’s curiosities
