The political mobilities are actively preparing their leaders' summit to be held in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia from November 3rd to the 5th. The Ravalomanana mobility is clearly intending to handle things again.

For Manandafy Rakotonirina, the Addis-Ababa stage will be an opportunity to re-assess everything.

The international Community seems to get tired of the Malagasy crisis as proved by the last mediators’ meeting on October 6th in Antananarivo. An imposed solution is standing out on the horizon though it might draw further more complications on the ground, pioneered by the Prime minister Monja Roindefo dismissal’s chapter, uncompleted until now.

For the mobility Marc Ravalomanana, according to the legalistic Prime Minister, Manandafy Rakotonirina, the four mobility chiefs’ summit will be the opportunity to do away with each and everyone’s speculations. “We are going all to renegotiate everything” he emphasized. According to him, the mediators’ proposal as an outcome of the meeting of October 6th cannot make it. This proposition is, as we know, granting the Transition’s presidency to Rajoelina Andry, the Prime Minister’s position to the mobility Didier Ratsiraka and the vice-presidency to that of Albert Zafy.

“Why should Marc Ravalomanana have to do with a mere vice prime minister’s position within the executive whereas he has been the lone democratically elected president?” wondered the partisan of the president in exile. During the latest days to the summit, the Ravalomanana mobility has been seemingly displaying firm will to have far higher ambitions. The fact is forecasting an incoming hard game negotiation round in Addis-Ababa.

The impossibility of a consensus is in the air once again, because Marc Ravalomanana and his partisans only have a single creed: “No putsch maker at the Transition’s presidency”. On the other hand, the partisans of the HAT also have a single goal in sight: “preserve their gains”, for having accepted to “sacrifice” Monja currently Roindefo, now granted other positions in the future new Transition, could the talks succeed someday.
