IMF: an investigation mission soon in Madagascar

During approximately four years, the Malagasy economy and public finance authority have escaped to the audit and investigation of international financial organizations, namely the IMF (International Monetary Fund). In recent times, while denouncing the existence of a mafia network in Madagascar, the former French Ambassador, Jean-Marc Chataigner, has expressed his wish for a return of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Madagascar to put some order in the national economy which is deeply affected by the political crisis in less than four years.

Reliable sources revealed that the IMF is currently preparing for the dispatch of a strong delegation that will make investigation and will try to negotiate with the current regime with the purpose of recovering the cooperation between Madagascar and the IMF. The return of the IMF in the country will surely be beneficial for the local economy since the IMF is an international institution working specifically for the recovery and stability of the economy of a country, especially when hit by a crisis.
