International Olympiad in Informatics: 4 high school students defending the national color

For the very first time, Madagascar is represented in the International Olympiad in Informatics, an international contest on computer science. For this year, the contest will take place at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada from August 14 to 21. 4 high school students from the capital will then defend the national color during this contest which gathers 80 countries from all over the world.

Among the official sponsors of the Malagasy representatives, the group Orange Madagascar expressed its pride about the participation of the Great Island in this contest. Fully aware of its commitment in the effort to bring development in the country, the group Orange Madagascar generously donated a huge sum allowing the 4 young students to represent their country. But like Orange Madagascar, the Camusat Madagascar, another generous donator, also brought its contribution in financing the candidates’ journey to Canada. And last but not the least, the Ministry of National Education along with the Ministry of Post and High Technology did not miss the opportunity to bring their contributions and support to the 4 Malagasy representatives.
