Madagascar 100 years agao

The exhibit “MADA 100” or “Madagascar hundred years ago” is a real trip back in time.  This exhibit, which is really worth a visit, assembled by the French collector Luc Monteret, will be held in the buildings of the Alliance Française from October 3rd to 15th.  Some 260 postcards on Madagascar, going back somewhere before 1918, were reproduced to be exposed for this occasion.  One will see, for example, photographs of the Queen’s Palace, the artificial lake Anosy as well as scenes of everyday life in various areas of the Big Island.
