Madagascar to increase its capacity of reception

Official figures report the existence of a little more than 800 hotel establishments in Madagascar for a total of approximately 10.000 rooms.  The wish of the tourist operators, today, would be to promote the creation of large hotel chains, so as to increase the room availability at the disposal of holiday makers and travellers.  Their model is Mauritius.  The island sister dispose of the same number of rooms with far less establishments (about 100).  But whaever the solution is, the tourist operators agree with the fact that rooms are missing.  The ministry for tourism envisages the creation of approximately 1000 additional rooms, every year, during next years.  From simple beach bungalows to luxury hotels.
