The head of the transition has much to lose in Maputo. Andry Rajoelina said that he is aware of difficulties, but ready to engage on the initiating path which would make him a chief of state.

Maputo: an initiating stage for Andry Rajoelina

Andry Rajoelina is ready for action as taking off toward Maputo for the top level meeting of political mobilities in the Madagascan crisis. “It is a forced stage “, he said. He compared the showdown to the circumcision that all small boys must undergo despite the pain. Will the TGV feel as small as a child on the political stage?

The young man thinks over very quickly and appears bolder again. “I am not afraid to face up to Ravalomanana, Ratsiraka and Zafy “, he claimed. Andry Rajoelina warned that it is ready to unveil the truth and to denounce whatever went wrong.

“Madagascar is sick, wherever remedies can be found, I’ll get there “, said the one who’s  been accused by a part of the opinion, of finding a pretext in order not to go to the previous meeting organized in Addis Ababa.

The speech is constantly conceited. Andry Rajoelina teaches lessons to elected presidents among whom he would have liked to be standing thanks to his disguised Coup back in latest March. “We are going to agree on putting an end to selfishness in favour of patriotism”, he said.

The one who wants to monopolize all powers of the transition fustigates the trade of political seats and calls upon thinking about what is good for the people’s sake. “A solution could be found, if everyone displays patriotism”, he affirmed, estimating that the solution must be a long term one for the country.

For Maputo, the delegation of the Rajoelina mobility considerably altered. The boiling Roland Ratsiraka won’t have to face up to his uncle, former president Didier Ratsiraka. The presence of former convict Voninahitsy Jean Eugène, a tenacious opponent to Marc Ravalomanana, is also noticed.

Andry Rajoelina doesn’t blow his nose without Norbert Lala Ratsirahonana, former lawyer and now a skilful politician. Arilaza Razafimahaleo, late Herizo’s brother, is in for as political advisor. So is Pierre Houlder, whose presence reminds that the Rajaonarivelo lower mobility is an ally of the HAT.

Zazah Ramandimbiarison, the HAT presidency’s Cabinet Director and indeed formerly part of the Ravalomanana regime comes up with Andry Rajoelina. As for the HAT foreign minister, he is logically present in Maputo. Ny Hasina Andriamanjato didn’t have a lot of success in his diplomatic attempts to gain recognition from the international community for the regime of transition.
