Mayor of Toamasina : he surrendered in Camp Gallieni

The mayor surrendered in the national state police’s Camp Gallieni (Toamasina) on Wednesday morning, June 16th. Let it be made clear that there had been no secret deal, and that he had freely decided to surrender. The inquiry has been started on Wednesday, June 3rd, by the Emmo Reg. His investigation went on until noon. The suspected Mayor of Toamasina was able to address the press early in the morning, by then, announced the ongoing investigation and denounced Tolojanahary Maharavo’s deeds, an inspector sent by the HAT decentralization ministry. The so named official had required a significant amount of money, fuel, and women from the mayor who denied him all that. The official subsequently told the mayor to join Antananarivo with a certain amount of cash dedicated to the decentralization ministy’s higher officials, including his own self, in order to be freed from charges in this nasty court case.

By Wednesday evening, at 15:00, the mayor of Toamasina, Dr Rakotomanana Gervais, and his attorney, M. Fidelice Safara declared that further comments were off the point since the inquiry would be keeping going on on Thursday, June 17th.

Neither his TIM fellowmen nor his colleagues appeared to support

No TIM partisan was noticed in the area during the investigation of Toamasina’s mayor. As a matter of fact, nobody has come to support. According to explanations collected from various citizens, the mayor’s call in to Camp Gallieni was far too sudden, but Toamasina’s people is definitely committed to pledge support to the city’s mayor famed by the nickname “Lebaba”. The investigation was dimmed to start at 09:00 am, but it only did at noon. Let it be reminded that no replacement SPD has yet been appointed
