Microfinance: Accès Bank opens its 14th agency

Accès Bank Madagascar officially opened on Thursday, 15 its 14th agency in Mahazo. The expansion of its activity is one way for this microfinance institution, managed by its new CEO, Kim GUENKEL, to confirm its commitment to facilitate the access to financial sector of population in rural areas.

As explained during the official inauguration, the new agency of Mahazo will be interconnected in real time with the ten agencies located in Antananarivo, and the three other agencies located in the region of Vakinankaratra, including Antsirabe, Ambatolampy and Betafo. Hence, the new agency’s clients will be able to benefit from all the basic services offered by Accès Bank such as common banking operations and credit services. Concerning the credit services, Accès Bank can offer up to 20 million Ariary credit to micro and individual companies, up to 200 million Ariary to SMEs (Small and Medium Businesses), and not to mention agricultural credit which was introduced last year.
