Mutual Aid Association Vendée-Itasy: a project of mill factory for the region

The Mutual Aid Association Vendée-Itasy has prepared a container of 67m3 filled with diverse equipments that are destined for the population of this region. For three hours, everything that was carefully packed before, such as school books, electrical equipment, hospital beds and Sycodem reformed bins were being loaded into the container. The mission was carried out by a dozen volunteers from the association.

All the equipments as well as the financial means for transporting the container towards the port of Tamatave were granted for free by public and private donors and collected by the association for over a year now. The association with its local representatives has already established a nursery school, participated in the installation of wells and contributed to the management of a local hospital. This year, the construction of a village community mill factory to enhance local production (including maize, cassava, soybeans, rice) is among the major project of the association.
